  1. I toss and turn sigh with frustration because it was getting later and I couldn’t turn my subconscious off. I would keep checking the time and would count down the number of hours I would likely get. It’s been a cycle of stress linked to falling asleep and I’ve been trying to break the cycle. I feel like everything I have been trying isn’t working. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t stare at the clock after 2 am, tossing and turning.

    I use the Abide mediation before I get into bed. I enjoy hearing scripture and prayer before bedtime but that hasn’t helped me sleep. I’ve been told to listen to music but that just keeps me. I’ve tried the breathing meditation that several articles I read suggest, that hasn’t helped either.
