Have you read “The Brothers Karamazov” by Fyodor Dostoyevsky? One of the chapters in the book is “The Grand Inquisitor”. Dostoyevsky has a very interesting take on the temptations of Jesus in “The Grand Inquisitor”. It’s well worth reading “The Grand Inquisitor” by itself.
